Domain Switcher is a Chrome extension that helps developers quickly switch between production websites and their local development environment. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles information.
Domain Switcher does NOT collect any personal data.
The developer has NO ACCESS to your data.
Your configuration is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. The developer cannot view, access, collect, or analyze this data.

Why needed: To read the current tab's URL so the extension can transform it to your configured target domain while preserving the path, query parameters, and hash.
What we access: Current tab URL only
What we do with it: Transform it to your target domain and open in a new tab. Never stored or transmitted.
Why needed: To save your domain configuration locally on your device so you don't have to re-enter it every time.
What we store: Domain, port, and HTTPS preference only
Where it's stored: Locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API
Who can access it: Only you, on your device
Domain Switcher does NOT use:
Since no data is ever transmitted to external servers, there is zero risk of data breaches, leaks, or unauthorized access from external sources. Your configuration is stored securely using Chrome's built-in storage API, which is encrypted and protected by Chrome's security mechanisms.
Since Domain Switcher does not collect any personal data:
Domain Switcher does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The extension is designed for developers and does not collect personal information from any users.
If this privacy policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date at the top will be changed. Material changes will be communicated through the Chrome Web Store listing.
